I graduated from the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic in 1991. I underwent my anaesthetic training in Europe (Czech Republic and Germany).
Before moving to Australia, I worked as a Consultant Anaesthetist in the United Kingdom (Sheffield and Oxford). I attained my fellowship with ANZCA in 2011 and I was also granted the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Ultrasound in 2016 and Graduate Diploma in Perioperative Medicine in 2022 – both by The University of Melbourne.
I provide general and regional anaesthesia for private hospitals in Gold Coast, Brisbane and Rockhampton. My special areas of interest include major general surgery, urology, minimally invasive surgery including robot-assisted procedures and perioperative medicine.
